HEY! I’M JEN

Woman, mummy and photographer behind Bear and Bee Photography.

My passion is to capture all the love and emotion at such a special and fleeting time in your life.

Pregnancy is so amazing and I am still in awe of the female body every time I see a baby bump, what we women do is incredible!

Having a maternity photo session is such an amazing way to capture and hold on to these memories of such a special time in your life.

I love to hear all about your journey to motherhood and getting to know you and your family. I guess that’s why so many of you leave as friends.

faq

when should i book my session?

Anytime after your 20 week scan is the perfect time to book, the earlier the better. The best time to have your shoot is between 26 and 36 weeks, this will just depend on you and how you are feeling. We can have a chat decide from there.

What should I wear?

After booking you session I will send out a welcome and style guide which will give you a little more info and advice on what to wear. I also have a few lovely dresses which you are welcome to use for your session.

how long is a session and where will it take place?

Maternity sessions usually last about an hour. These can either take place at my studio or at a location mutually agreed. I love an outdoor session, beach sessions are always popular.

can partners and siblings be photographed as well?

Absolutely! I love capturing the whole family at such a special time. Fur-siblings are also always welcome as well!

when will i see my photos?

About 2-3 weeks after your photo session I will send you an online gallery of all of the best images from the day and you can pick and order your chosen images in line with the collection you have selected. You will also have the opportunity to order any extra prints, albums or wall art.

how do i pay for my session?

When booking I will take a £50 deposit to secure your date. The rest of the fee is required 24 hours before your session. If you want to purchase any extra prints, frames or other wall art pieces these will be paid for after you have viewed and picked your photos.

    Jen is very accommodating. We requested to do a home photo shoot for both our maternity and newborn photo shoot and without hesitation, she gladly agreed and drove all the way to our location. She is pleasant to work with and patient. She is creative and artistic and it is reflected in her works. We love all the images she captured. It is an absolute delight to work with her.

    I can't recommend Jen highly enough. I had a wonderful outdoor maternity shoot at the end of March. She made me feel at ease which helps so much when you're already feeling self conscious while heavily pregnant. The pictures turned out beautiful. Great experience, wonderful memories to treasure and such a lovely person to work with.

    I had a maternity shoot and a newborn shoot booked with Jenn. She was fantastic for both! Super professional but also very calming for nervous mama's to be, the baby and the parents. We got some amazing images and now have the difficult decision of which to choose to frame! Can't recommend her enough. X

    We've asked Jen to capture some of our most precious memories and both times have been amazing and beyond expectation. Our outdoor maternity shoot was so relaxed and fun and our newborn shoot was at babies pace and very calm. Both times, we were quite nervous and unsure what to do but Jen kept us right and put us at ease the minute we arrived. Jen catches the candid moments so fluidly. We've booked for the Christmas mini shoot and will be back for a cake smash when our boy is 1 year old - can't imagine going to anywhere else. Thank you so much, Jen, and see you again soon!
